ASTM E45 ADJUNCT 1 ADJUNCT TO E45 DETERMINING THE INCLUSION CONTENT OF STEEL (ALSO SEE ASTM E 45 AND ASTM E 45 ADJUNCT 2)
A series of four photomicrographs of low carbon steel on a single sheet. This adjunct is used in rating samples according to Method B of E45. When required, a series of comparison photomicrographs at 100x, which illustrates all other nonmetallic particles present, may be used to characterize the background appearance of the specimen.
